at 木羊子ギャラリー
絵でもコラージュでも立体でも、
自分が作るもののどこかに失敗や間違いがある。
事が上手くいっていたら生まれなかったアイデアは
たくさんある。
いつだって失敗したくないし、間違いたくない。
わざとミスしにいくのも違う気がする。
失敗や間違いは常に歓迎できるものではなく、
失敗や間違いに甘いわけでもない。
まあいっかでは済まないことのほうが多い。
なんだろうか。
まずは窓を開けて換気をしてみる。
風で机の上のメモが落ちる。
秋元机（DESK）
東京出身、在住。絵画・イラスト・マンガ・
コラージュ・彫刻などメディアを問わず自由に制作。
東京・大阪・福岡・ソウル・香港・深圳・台北での個展や、
バンコク・上海・ソウルのアートフェアへの招待作家として
幅広く出展。
色褪せて判読できない絵看板、切り取られ文脈を失った図像、
蚤の市で見つけた使い途のわからない部品一役目を終え、
意味から解放され自由に漂う「役に立たない物達」。
彼らが持つ美しさ、おかしみ、言葉で言い表せない曖味な雰囲気や
感情を掬い取り、視覚化することが創作の根底にある。
どこか遠い国、遥か遠い過去、もしくは未来。
そんな、距離と時間を隔ててここへ辿り着いたかのような
ムードやテクスチャーを頼りに表現を続けている。
AKIMOTO TSUKUE (DESK): Tokyo-based artist.
Working freely across medium-painting,
illustration, comic, collage, and sculpture.
Exhibited widely at solo shows in Tokyo, Osaka,
Fukuoka, Seoul, Hong Kong, Shenzhen,and Taipei,
and as an invited artist at art fairs in Bangkok,
Shanghai, and Seoul.
Upcoming: Tokyo Contemporary /
tagboat (Oct 2-4, 2026), followed by a solo exhibition
in Hong Kong in January 2027.
Faded signboards, decontextualized images,
and nameless flea-market finds-freed from meaning and duty,
these useless things drift beautifully and humorously.
The core of creation is capturing their indescribable
emotions and atmospheres.
Guided by textures and moods that feel as if they traveled
from a faraway land, a distant past, or a future,
the journey continues.
